View

Retain a centralised overview of all participants’ screens. All activities are displayed in real time. Link to any PC by means of a double click, and provide assistance remotely.

Integrated language lab
The audio monitoring function is optimised for the use of MasterSolution Suite XL in voice labs. The instructor or trainer retains a view of all PC audio activities via a console, and can listen to any voice input at the click of a mouse. He/she can record this input or play it back to the participant, or provide personalised, individual tips for improved pronunciation to students without disturbing the other participants.

Control

In the classroom layout, active use and internet activities are indicated by means of small symbols.

Access the PCs at the click of a mouse:

• Open or close applications or web sites
• Allow or block access to defined applications or web sites as well as USB, CD and DVD drives
• Block internet usage completely

Internet co-browsing
The browsers on the participants’ PCs follow you as you navigate the internet, right up to simultaneous scrolling through a page.

Tests

Multimedia knowledge tests

• Compile questions with different content (including image, audio and video questions), with time limits
• Create individual questions or entire tests at home as well
• Automatically send tests to selected participants
• Tests are automatically collected and evaluated after the time limit has expired

Questionnaires
Conduct a short questionnaire by receiving feedback as to whether training material has been understood, for example. Evaluation appears on your screen immediately.

Savings

MasterSolution Suite XL allows you to take advantage of integrated printer administration.

Minimise printer costs by:

• Preventing unnecessary, prohibited or double print jobs
• Determining access and usage individually for each printer
• Forcing the need for authorisation before printing
• Receiving a detailed history of all print jobs

Group work

MasterSolution Suite XL allows you to define participant groups as required. One participant in each group can be defined as a group leader.

Within the group, the participant receives the following trainer rights:

• Display of selected screen
• View of images
• Remote access to a client
• Work together on an "integrated whiteboard" under his/her direction

Journal

Record different information in a journal, e.g. on topic areas being discussed, at the click of a mouse. All content captured is automatically stored in a PDF file.

Use the journal to record the following information:

• Programs and files used
• URLs of web sites used
• Lesson details and goals
• Individual notes from the trainer or participants
• Screenshots from a presentation
• Questionnaire and test results
• Virtual whiteboard screens
